She was predeceased by: her parents, Celedonio Garcia and Clara Romero; her siblings, Debra Romero and Jerry Romero; her nephew Jarrod Chavez; and her brother-in-law Levi Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Lucero (Daniel Zamora), Jessica Lucero, Santana "Lucas" Campos (Aleesha Ortega) and Elizabeth Higgins (Juaquin Baca); her siblings, Rita Romero of Albuquerque, NM, Michael Romero (Leandra Garcia) of Albuquerque, NM, Grace Chavez (Ernie Chavez) of Santa Rosa, Donna Salas, Phillip Romero of Las Vegas, NM and Cele Garcia of Santa Rosa; and her grandchildren, Samarah Serrano, Daniel Zamora, Jase Roybal, Kynadii Zamora, Kailani Salazar, Kateri Salazar, Jacob Salazar, Arelyn Campos, Aumoray Campos, Ezarah Campos and Illaria Chavez.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church - Santa Rosa (439 S 3rd St, Santa Rosa, NM 88435). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - Santa Rosa (439 S 3rd St, Santa Rosa, NM 88435).
