He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Burns and Grace Burns; and his siblings, Virginia Martindale and Gary Burns (Sue Burns). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Thomas; his children, Todd Burns (Tammie Burns), Lisa Burns and Jeffery Burns; his grandchildren, Cathy Santos (Luis Santos), Zach Burns (Brittney Barney Burns) and Austin Burns; and his great grandchildren, Braiden Rodriguez, Jaxon Santos, Braxton Burns and Brody Burns.
