He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Mascareñas and Antonia Leger Mascareñas; his wife Josie Gomez Mascareñas; his siblings, Alcadio N. Mascareñas and Victoria Trujillo; his parents-in-law, Patrocinio Gomez and Clara Gomez; his brothers-in-law, Gregory Marrujo and Venancio Trujillo; his nephew Alfred Mascareñas; and his niece Sheila Mascareñas-De Leon.

He is survived by: his children, Marvin Mascareñas (Cheryl) of Ojitos Frios, Ernestine Mascareñas of Sapello and Gwen Mascareñas (Robert) of Mora; his granddaughters, Franchesca Valdez and Analisa Valdez of Sapello; his great grandchild Sheilah (Mascareñas); his siblings, Gilbert Mascareñas (JoAnn) of Brighton, CO and Ellen Vigil of Denver, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Silviano Gomez (JoAnn), Jerry Gomez of Rociada, Mike Gomez (Joyce) of Albuquerque, Bernilda Marrujo of Mora, Ramoncita Gomez, Pauline Gomez of Rociada and Patricia Vigil (Rick) of Albuquerque. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
