He is survived by: his father Manuel Ponce of Chihuahua, Mexico; his wife Norma Ponce; his children, Alvaro Joan Ponce (Katia) of Silver City, Guadalupe Ponce (Ivan Villeslaz) of Soto Maynes, Mexico and Luz Ponce of Silver City; and his siblings, Octavio Ponce (Lupe Camacho) of Mexico, Lazaro Ponce (Graciela) of Mexico, Alonso Ponce (Irma Chavez) of Mexico, Martin Ponce of Mexico, Margarita and Socorro Ponce of Mexico. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
