It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arturo E. Rivera of Silver City, New Mexico, who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matias Rivera and Guadalupe Zapata Rivera; his son Arturo C Rivera; and his siblings, Emilio Rivera, Merejildo Rivera (Chino), Jose Rivera, Mary Flores and Virginia Rivera.
He is survived by: his children, Carmen Herrington, Richard Rivera and Maria Rivera; his stepchildren, Della Lopez, Lisa Hernandez and Ray Lopez; and his siblings, Matias Rivera, Manuel Rivera, Frederico Sauceda (Fred), Lupe Audette, Margaret Spicer and Lydia Ice.
