It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Goetz of Silver City, New Mexico, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Almeda Helderman and Russell McKinley Greene; his children, Angela Cecilia Saldivar, Veronica Rose Saldivar (Pat) and Peter Christopher Sanchez (Virginia); his wife Lori Goetz; his children, Sean Goetz (Jennifer), Dustin Goetz (Rebecca) and Nichole Mohr (Jon); his grandchildren, Melody, Krista, Jimmy, Peter, Taylor, Haley, Allie, Alexis, Dylan, Cody, Karley, Ariana, Emma, Isabella, Paveen, Lucy and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Easton and Lukas. He was also cherished by father / grandfather, and provider for his family.

Jeffrey Peterson wrote a sympathy message

“I just had a most pleasant conversation with Lori, David's wife, as we shared memories about him. David and I became fast friends 64, 65 years ago, but after life intervened - Vietnam, marriages, and so much more - we lost contact for too many years. When we finally re-established contact several years ago, it was that some things had never changed. We had a tight group back in our high school years in El Segundo. There was David, Steve Martin, Ted Tyler, John Marikos, David Stokely and me.”
