She was predeceased by: her parents, Abran M. Chacon and Josefa P. Chacon; her husband Victor H. Ornelas of Silver City; her daughter Eva; her siblings, Connie Ryan, Rosa Arvizo, Catalina Alirez, Jesus Chacon and Augustine Chacon; and her siblings-in-law, Lupe Chacon and Elvira Chacon.
She is survived by: her brother Gaspar Chacon (Teresa) of Santa Fe; her brother-in-law Thomas J. Ryan of Silver City; her children, Catrina Smith (Rodney) of Aurora, CO, Sam Ornelas (Debbie) of Albuquerque and Tony Ornelas (Priscilla) of Santa Fe; her grandchildren, Rozlyn Jones (Zach) of Aurora, CO, Marisa Ornelas (Andrew Paulson) of Santa Fe, Kaytlyn Ellingson (James) of Wellington, CO, Matthew Ornelas of Santa Fe, Jerod Smith (Bri) of Aurora, CO, Elijah Ornelas of Albuquerque and Ava Ornelas of Albuquerque; her great grandchildren, Logan, Jackson Jones, Jordan, Theo Ellingson, Amelia (Millie) and Miles Smith; her cousin Dolores Wilson; her uncles, Gaspar and Tommy Ryan; her aunt Teresa; her cousins, Margaret Ryan, Frank Ryan, Dorina Martinez, Raquel Corral and Brandi Costales; Cecilia Ryan (Victor) and Martha Pedraza.
