She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro; her parents, Santiago Jacquez and Maria Ortega Jacquez; her son Sammy Ray Ortiz; and her grandchildren, David Ortiz, Jr. and Nichole Leon Ortiz.
She is survived by: her children, Pete Ortiz Jr. (Yvette), Michael Ortiz, David Ortiz (Elizabeth) and Melissa Ortiz; and her siblings, Rudy Jacquez, Fidel Jacquez, Alicia Carrasco and Lupe Barragan. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (420 W Market St, Silver City, NM 88061). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery (420 W Market St, Silver City, NM 88061).
