He was predeceased by : his parents, Tomas M. Gomez and Helen R. Gomez; his wife Petra Gomez; and his siblings, Rosemary Gonzalez, Ester Chavez and David Gomez.
He is survived by : his children, Patricia Medina (Mike), Daniel Gomez (Jessica) and Jose Gomez (Renee); his grandchildren, Daniel, Thomas Anthony, Amber Gomez, Chelsea Medina, Andrew Arroyo, Stephanie Jasso (Xavier), Valerie Arzaga (Thomas), Vanessa Martinez, Daniella and Elena Gomez; his siblings, Ignacio Gomez (Deana), Yolanda and Perla Gomez; and his brother-in-law Alex Gonzalez. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
