He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoria Madril Chavez and Alex Chavez; and his sister Gloria Foulenfont. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Chavez; his children, Alisandro Chavez III (Melanie), Dominic Chavez, Brandi and Victor Chavez (Patricia); his grandchildren, Ashley Gonzales, Miranda Williams, Lexi Chavez, Alex Chavez IV (Adrianna), Christian Lopez, Deekota Chavez (Richie), Kaade Chavez Koltton Chavez (Aurelia), Victor Chavez Jr. (Adelia), Izaiah Chavez (Lynae), Ashlyn Aguilar and Alyssa Aguilar; his great grandchildren, Ta'Lei Romero, Alianna Chavez and Alex Chavez V; his brother-in-law George Foulenfont; Julia Aguilar (Steven). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
