He is survived by : his sister Yvonne Anaya; and his children, Karen Valenzuela (Morris), Rhonda Sellers (Bill), Danita Valdez (Louie), Sandra Coronado, Danny Gallegos (Rita), Michael Gallegos (Cheryle) and Damacio Gallegos Jr.. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
