He was predeceased by : his parents, Ezequiel Saavedra and Eloisa Saavedra; his brothers, Victor "Ramon" Saavedra and Francisco Saavedra; his aunts, Albinita, Jennie Baca and Flora Montoya; his grandparents, Serito, Emena Baca, Luis and Gabrielita Saavedra; and his uncles, Adrian, Ignacio and Candido Baca.

He is survived by : his wife Juanita; his daughter Patricia Torma (Steve); his grandchildren, Nick and Jackie Torma; his son Victor Saavedra; his grandson Kaleb Clark; and his brother Ignacio Saavedra. He is also survived by his family and friends.
