She was predeceased by : her parents, George Romero and Mary Romero; her husband Bobby; and her sisters, Cynthia Naranjo and Debra Carbajal.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Benavidez (Joe), Roberta Medina (Dominic), David Silva (Stephanie), Rebecca Silva (Richard) and Kimberly Silva (Matthew); her grandchildren, Anthony, Angelica Armijo, Joe Daniel, Jon Benavidez, Lorenzo, Christopher, Eric Valenzuela and DJ Silva; her great grandchild Angelo Benavidez; her pet Tequila; her siblings, Lawrence Romero (Jessica), Nadine and Emma Romero; and her great grandchildren, Joe Benavidez, Dominic Medina, Richard Tafoya (Stephanie Maginnis), Matthew Espinosa and Lawrence Romero (Nadine Romero).
