It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jovita Lozano of Socorro, New Mexico, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Apolinar Valenzuela and Natividad Valenzuela (Gutierrez); her siblings, Juan, Apolinar, Florencio Valenzuela, Jacinta, Ascension and Guadalupe; her children, Christopher M. Lozano, Rodrigo Lozano and Jennie Peringer; her grandchildren, Tyrone Rivera and Kimberly Tellez; and her great grandchild Eddie Gonzales III.
She is survived by: her children, Jose Lozano (Lena), Virginia Vivian (Sammy), Mary Frances Martinez (Lloyd) and Don Lozano (Brian); her grandchildren, Eddie Gonzales Jr., Miguel Lozano (Amanda), Samantha Vivian-Gonzales (Ruben), Joshua Martinez (Julie), Jordan Martinez, Samuel Vivian Jr., Thomas Rivera, Bethany Gonzales (Kevin) and Gina Thompson (Cody); and her children, Jacob and Paige.
