He was predeceased by: his parents, Fayette Rice and Rosella Rice (Catherine Rice); and his siblings, Brett Randal Rice, Lee, Martha, Alice, Stella and June.
He is survived by: his sister Ethel Marie Hooker; his son Carl Matthew Rice; and his granddaughters, Shannon Begler and Natalie Rice. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren along with a host of friends.
