He is survived by: his brothers, Arcadio Carranza and Reynaldo Carranza; and his children, Rosa Irma Ruiz (Cristobal), Virginia "Gina" Salazar (Sabino), Eloy Carranza Sr. (Martha), Agatha "Aggie" Montoya (Ray) and Marylou Aguilar. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
