He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Garcia and Delfina V. Garcia of Santa Fe, NM.; his siblings, Rose Marie Richardson, Barbara Trujillo and Bennie Garcia Jr.; his son James Garcia; and the mother of his children Rita Garcia.

He is survived by: his daughter Victoria Garcia (Tory); and his siblings, Josephine Taylor (Johnny), June Roybal (Gus), Evangeline Bransford (Anthony) and Fred Garcia (Virginia).
