He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer McCauley Howard II and Agnes Louise McClain; his sisters, June and Mary; his sons, Chico Jr. and Alex; and his grandsons, Ezra and Jonathan.
He is survived by : his wife Margarita Flores De (Durango); his children, Bibi, Chiquis and Ricky; his children-in-law, Chris, Ken, Silvia and MaryAnn; and his siblings, Juan, Fito, Mackie, Betty Grace and Lisa. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
