It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Dofflemyer (Taos, New Mexico), who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Gloria and Fidel Dofflemyer, Sr.; her brother Fidel Dofflemyer, Jr.; the father of her children Joe Peña; her sons, Anthony and Ron Peña; her son-in-law Vincente Encinias; her brothers-in-law, Tony Mendonca, George, Ronnie and Montoya; her daughter Norma Encinias (Jason); her daughter-in-law Theresa Peña; her grandchildren, Nicholas Peña, Jerome Peña (Nicole), Chaînes Peña (Michael), Mariah Peña (Wesley), Vinnie Encinias (Erica) and Jasmine Encinias (Jacob); her great grandchild Star Encinias; her siblings, Lita Arellano (Danny), Molly Dofflemyer, Kathy Mendoca and William "Bill" Dofflemyer; her aunts, Gail Tanuz, Tillie Peña, Jeannie Peña, Connie Vargas, Rose Montoya and Geraldine Peña; and her godchildren, Debra Jackson, Francisco Armijo, Stephen Alaveraz and Eric Mendonca. She was also cherished by numerous extended family and friends.
