With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jerome S. Rice of Taos, New Mexico, born in Roseau, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jerome left this world on October 22, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jerome had on those he encountered along his journey. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Rice and Gladys Rice (Edwardson); and his granddaughter Maeve Dempsey-Rice. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rice (Cummings); his daughters, Melyssa Rice (Tim Dempsey), Bethany Rice, Allison Rice (Joe Stratman) and Lauren Rice; his grandchild Elspeth Dempsey-Rice; his sisters, Louise Mackay (Ed) and Janis Hardy (Dob); and his brother-in-law Ed Cummings (Ryan Blalock).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Plymouth Congregational Church.
