We bid farewell to Joe Eloy Garcia (Taos, New Mexico), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 27, 2025 at the age of 91. Joe touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Joe's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joe has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garcia and Lourdes Garcia; his daughter Eleanor Prada; and his brothers, Eddie and Fidel Garcia.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Martinez of Chandler and Eloy Garcia of Santa Fe; and his sisters, Susie Catanach, Patsy Anaya and Olivia Garcia of Santa Fe. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Santa Fe Memorial Gardens (417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the La Plancha's Restaurant (3470 Zafarano Dr, Santa Fe, NM 87507).
