He was predeceased by : his wife Kay Gallegos; and his parents, Walter Gallegos and Epi Gallegos. He is survived by : his daughters, Randi Hartman (Brad), Stephanie Garcia (Dominic) and Tanya Gallegos (David); his grandchildren, Zach Hartman (Alexis), Rachel Ferch (Jordan), Julian Garcia and Marcus Garcia; his great grandchild Bryce Ferch; and his siblings, Glenn Gallegos (Vicki), Walter Gallegos Jr. (Mamie), Michelle Padilla, Maria Pacheco (Steve), Teresa Martin and Michael Gallegos.

A rosary was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Cathedral (131 Cathedral Pl, Santa Fe, NM 87501). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rosario Cemetery.
