It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolanda Maria Turpen (Taos, New Mexico), who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Feliciano Araya and Julia Silva. She is survived by: her daughters, Genise Marie (Andrew) and Pamela Christine (Stephanie); her husband Charles; her grandsons, Max (Hayne), Sean and Mateo; and her siblings, Gina Cotton (France), Patricia Piñeda (Honduras), Sergio Araya, Jorge Araya and Patricio Araya (Chile).
