It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavone Baird of Tatum, New Mexico, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Lonora Richardson and Lester Richardson; her husband Bill Baird; and her children, Robert L Baird, Vivian L Baird, Billy D Baird and Ralph S Baird. She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her honor to Meals on Wheels and left at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.
