He was predeceased by: his wife Marcella Ulibarri; his son Baby Ulibarri; his brothers, Ramos Ulibarri, Eddie Ulibarri, Orlando Ulibarri and Gilbert Ulibarri; and his parents, Jose Ignacio Ulibarri and Celina Ulibarri.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence "Lou" Ulibarri, Leonard Ulibarri (Eileen) and Mary Jo "M. J." Carrillo (Joe); his grandchildren, Crystal, Patrick, Roxanne of Dominic, T. J. and Esperanza; his brother Marcello Ulibarri (Rosemary); his sister-in-law Priscilla Samora; his aunt Connie Beavers; his uncle Joe Tifilo Trujillo (Myna); his close friend Alberto Morfin (Bernadette); Cynthia, Gabriel, Bernie and Manuel. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many cousins, extended family members, and cherished friends.
A rosary was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the San Jose Parish (101 Main St, Los Ojos, NM 87551). A Mass was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the San Jose Catholic Church (101 Main St, Los Ojos, NM 87551). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Las Nutrias Cemetery (2 Co Rd 314, Cebolla, NM 87518).
