With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores Torrez (Tome, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Chavira and Eufemia Chavira; her husband Julian Torrez; her son Ralph Torrez; her grandson Juan Estevan; and her sister Altagracia Chavira.
She is survived by: her children, Juan Jose Johnny Torrez, Magdalen Perea, Leroy, Diane Torrez, Eufemia (Famie) and Ted Trujillo; and her sisters, Aurora Sanchez and Eloisa Padilla. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Godchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7 Church Loop, Tome, NM 87060). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tome Catholic Cemetery.
