He is survived by : his wife Imelda Chavez; his daughters, Ramona and Charlene B. Chavez of Torreon; his daughter-in-law Donna M. Chavez of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Matthew R. Chavez of Chugiak, AK and Amanda L. Chavez Edwards (Brandon Edwards) of Colorado Springs, CO.; his siblings, Fidel Chavez Jr. (Neno), Gilbert Chavez (Maxine), Leroy Chavez (Irene), Tercio Chavez, George Chavez (Rita), Angela Diane Valenzuela (Jose), Rosemary Chavez and Concepcion "Concha" Candelaria; his parents-in-law, Reina Chavez, Joe Perea (Susie), Pablo Perea (Kathleen) and Richard Vigil (Christina); his uncle Ernie Vigil; and his aunts, Nestorita and Ester Chavez. He is also survived by several relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
