He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Joseph Kapela and Louise Mary Kapela (Kluczynski); and his brother Robert Louis Kapela. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Ann Kapela; his sons, Kenneth Kapela and Jeff Kapela (Silke); his siblings, Betty Cobb of Newport Beach, CA, Janet Ross of Westchester, PA and Michael Kapela of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Kira Kapela, Logan Kapela and Jasmine Otte; and his great grandchild Sylvie Otte.
