She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicasio Garcia, Sr. and Feliciana Martinez. She is survived by: her son Dimitri Chappell (Diedra); her granddaughters, Annaliah Vargas, Jennabelle Vargas and Ariella Catherine Chappell; and her siblings, Pamela Meier, Nicasio Garcia, Jr., Erlinda Garcia and Gregorio Garcia. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
She worked as a surgical technician at Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital and later as a nurse for Presbyterian Medical Group and Presbyterian Hospice, where she made significant contributions to the well-being of her patients.
