With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Diaz of Tucumcari, New Mexico, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruperto Baca, Jr. and Crestina Baca (Serna); her husband Mike J. Diaz, Jr.; and her brothers, Antonio and Leroy Baca.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Diaz (Valerie) of Tucumcari, Mike J. Diaz, III (Tammy) of Kingman, AZ, Debbie Fought (Wayne) and Ruben Diaz (Laurie); and her grandchildren, Mike J. Diaz, IV (Drew), Isaac Diaz, Ryan Fought (Dana), Laura Fought, John Fought, Andrew Diaz (Kenia), Jordyn Diaz (Josh Lopez), Jayden Diaz, Alyssa Diaz and Jonathan Diaz. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters, 3 brothers, 2 sisters-in-law as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
