He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Utter Sr. and Ophelia Whitehead; his daughter Stephanie Utter; and his siblings, Yvonne, Ruthie Tyler and Ernest Utter.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Utter; and his children, Cynthia, Denise Thompson, Eva and Howard. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
