He was predeceased by: his wife Arsenia Salazar (Virgie); his parents, Pantaleon Salazar and Anita Salazar; his parents-in-law, Edward and Consuelo Silva; and his grandson Brian Oberlander.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannette Salazar of Tularosa, Anna Walker (Ronnie) of Tularosa, Steve (Brenda) of Mesa, AZ and Jim (Barbara) of Tularosa.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church (303 Encino St, Tularosa, NM 88352). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (1610 A N Fairview Rd, Tularosa, NM 88352).
