He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cobal Bain, Jr. and Kyra Edna Bain (Carter); his children, Dale Bain and Debra Bain; and his siblings, Ray Bain, Fay Bain and Nellie Ann Bain.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Irene Ressegue; his children, Melvin Floyd Bain, Jr., William Bain and Rebecca Bain; and his siblings, Donald Bain, Leona DeGrande, Marilyn Broyles, Peggy Brawner and Charlotte Bain.
