She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Silva and Consuelo Silva; her parents-in-law, Pantaleon and Annie Salazar; her sister Lydia (Roy Chavez); her grandson Brian Oberlander; and her sisters-in-law, Beatrice and Clara Silva.

She is survived by: her husband Juan Salazar (Johnny); her children, Jeannette Salazar-Arenas, Steve (Brenda) and Jim (Barbara); her stepdaughter Anna (Ronnie Walker); and her siblings, Edward Silva, Henry Silva (Beatrice), Demecio Silva (Bill) and Beatrice (Gilbert Gomez).
