He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Monje and Porfiria S. Monje; and his wife Ramona Monje. He is survived by: his children, Bertha Monje, Stephen Monje (Theresa), Robert Monje, Doris Smolik (Dan) and Vikki Galaz (Alex); and his grandchildren, Rachel Guillen, Andrea Fajardo, Rebekah Monje, Jessica Gutuerrez (Sam), Jennifer Lopez (Greg), Roberto Galaz and Maria Galaz. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
