He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Bonner Sr. and Rosie Lee Bonner (Wilson); and his siblings, Eugene Christley (Rosie) and Elsie Thompson (Jesse Sr.). He is survived by: his children, Treva Johnson (Troy), Monty Ray Bonner (Shawntae), Kenyatta Terron Bonner (Tremaine Brown) and Jenise Esomonu (Paulinas); his sister Shirley Pope; his grandchildren, Shana Edwards (Brandyon), Khaleb, Khamray Bonner, Arelia Thierry, Darius Morris, Jordan Bonner, Kaysaun Bonner, Nicolette and Nekeial Esomonu; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Azari Brooks, Giovanni Bryant, Kassy Bonner, Krissy Bonner and Brandyon Edwards; his nieces, Sheena Holland-Pope, Michelle Christly and Deidra Obiajulu; and his close friend Donald R. Cooper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
