He was predeceased by : his parents, Alphonso Lewise and Emma Mary Monaco (Serricchio); his son Rene Eugene Monaco; and his siblings, Edward Monaco (Billie), Alphonso Monaco (Anne), Reynold Monaco (Janice), Louis Monaco (Carol), Irene Rose "Sally" Marchand (Gene), Ruth Anne Boone Visker (Joe) and Marietta Monaco.
He is survived by : his sister Emma Jean Roundtree; his children, Robert Monaco (Janet) and Tamara Monaco; and his grandchildren, Ryan Monaco, Christine Monaco, Jialing Monaco, William Combs, Aaron Combs and Riley Monaco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
