It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne D. Muir of Elko, Nevada, born in Cedar City, Utah, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Dora Hurdsman Muir; his children, David George Muir and Nancy Fay Muir; his father Leon D. Muir; and his brother Gene Muir.

He is survived by : his wife Jorja Lamphiear of Elko; his daughter Emily Crofts (Scott) of Osino, Nevada; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Dominguez (Nathan) of Elko, Katherine "Vivi" Hoover of Elko and Sam Hoover of Elko; and his siblings, Beverly Pond of Venice and Steven Muir (Connie) of Spring Creek, Nevada..
