He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander John (AJ) and Fotene Flangas (Faye); his brothers, Bill Flangas, John Flangas and Gus Flangas; and his nephews, Albert Flangas (Trudi) and Ted Flangas.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marilyn Flangas (Bill); his nephews, Gus Flangas (Tammy), Alex Flangas and Gary Flangas (Amanda); and his niece Camille Flangas. He is also survived by numerous cousins and grand Nieces and Nephews, many Godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Nevada Northern Railway Foundation.
