The family announces the passing of LaVonne L. Allphin of Ely, Nevada on September 22, 2026. LaVonne, born on January 26, 1934, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. Though LaVonne is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. LaVonne’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Sidney Bowman and Ada L. Hilton Bowman-Conde; her husband Jerry Allphin; her son Dennis Danner; and her granddaughter Mandi Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Rex Danner (Cindy) of Pahrump, Nevada and Debra Francone (Mike) of Ely, Nevada; and her stepchildren, Larry Allphin of Ely, Nevada and Penny Allphin of Phoenix, Arizona.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (701 Ave N, Ely, NV 89315).
