It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick George McKenzie (Ely, Nevada), born in Lund, Nevada, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sara Gardner and Roderick Vance McKenzie; his siblings, Ken and Phyllis; and his brother-in-law Robert Oxborrow (Bob).
He is survived by : his siblings, Donald McKenzie (Darlene) and Geraldine Billington (Harvey); his sisters-in-law, Josephine Reid and Sharon Bryant; and his children, Rodric Don McKenzie, James Alan McKenzie (Becky), Karla McKenzie-Dolezal (Mark), Sheila Allred Andrew Paul (James) and Barry Gene McKenzie (Kimberly). He is also survived by 43 grandchildren, 59+4 more expected soon great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and inlaws.
