It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Mae Wilkinson in Henderson, Nevada, born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy N. Henninger and Mae Marshall Henninger (Marshall); her sister Vernelle "Slim" Higgins Horn; and her son Joseph John Wilkinson. She is survived by: her former husband John Wilkinson; her son Joe; her close friend Professor Charles Black; her sons, Michael Wilkinson (Alexandra) and Patrick Wilkinson (Patricia); her daughter-in-law Kimiko Kogure Wilkinson; her niece Ann Wassenberg (Lee); and her grandchildren, Annie Wilkinson, Lilly Ahrens, Cody Wilkinson, Silas Wilkinson, Jesse Wilkinson, Emma Wilkinson, Elena Wilkinson and Javier Wilkinson. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, a grand niece and a grand nephew and many beloved ex brother-in- laws, sister-in-laws and friends.
