He is survived by: his wife Verlynn Sanders Smith; his children, Ginger Dennett (Ryan), Heather Krambule (Nathan), Natalie Childress (Loney), Steven "Smitty" Smith (Angela Ballew) and Logan Smith; and his sisters, Tanja Hileman (Dan) and Leisa Black (Duane). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
