He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald H. Abney and Cora Abney; his wife Claire; his children, Jeffery Orr, Roger McLain (Julie), Angelique Abney (Rian), Jessica Miller (Tyler), Stephanie Roy (Jimmy) and Monica Pickett (Bradley); and his siblings, Mary Ellen Smalley, Donna Henderson, Rita Abney and Ronald Abney. He was also cherished by his nine grandchildren.
