He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn; his parents, Norma and Sylvester; his stepmother Elsie; his mother-in-law Dorothy; his siblings, Karen, Betty Jo, Butch and Greg; his siblings-in-law, Steve and Patricia; and his son-in-law Gary.
He is survived by: his children, Jami, Hogi (Mike) and Chris; his sisters, Liz (Mike) and Mary (John); and his grandchildren, Jasmine and Jaxon. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 225 (355 W Broadway Ave, Forest Lake, MN 55025).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Jim to hug their loved ones, raise a glass in his memory, and share a favorite Jim story.
