She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Wilford Hopkins and Edwina Hopkins (Fuhr); and her brother Sonny Hopkins. She is survived by: her daughter Shelly Cardwell-Hynes (Jimmy); her grandson Zack Hynes; and her siblings, Sharron Macklin (Mac) and J. C. Hopkins (Robin). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
