He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Luisa and Alcides Cano; and his nephew Augustine. He is survived by: his wife Griselda; his daughters, Jacki and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Amanda and Ethan; and his son-in-law Jay. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, and Sister-In-Law.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Candlelighters-Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada.
