She was predeceased by: her grandson Nicklaus Kemmler; her siblings, Hiroshi Aoyagi (Robert), Takeshi Aoyagi, Noboru Aoyagi, Tsutomu Aoyagi (Tom), Hisao Aoyagi, Dorothy Tanaka and Ethel Gyotoku; and her parents, Kaemon Aoyagi and Matsuyo Aoyagi.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Marrero; her children, Audrey Kemmler, Jocelin Arakawa (Finch) and Carla Marrero; her stepson Anthony Sakai; her sisters, Lillian Chang, Alfhild Clark, Marjorie Iwamoto, Esther Hayashi and Marcia Drake (Randy); her grandchildren, Tanya Tannenbaum (Lawrence), Sunny Arakawa (Ryan Shosten), Stevie Arakawa (Anthony Urrea) and Kuuipo Savelio (Dennis Frautschy); her great grandchildren, Courtney Kemmler, Mia Kemmler, Marisa Kemmler, Cooper Arakawa Shosten and Jack Arakawa Shosten; and her friends, Pat Frei and Merle Klug.
