He is survived by: his children, Joann Burt of Georgetown, KY, Cheryl Hawkins, Kyla Nash of Las Vegas, NV, William Hawkins (Myrtis) of Jackson, MS and Kevin F. Eppenger (Celeste); his siblings, Claude Hodges (Vanessa) of Henderson, NV and Murenice Walker of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Kevin A. Eppenger (Trelisa), Kiara Eppenger, Khashae Eppenger, Kameron Eppenger, Courtney Phyfer (Terran) of Las Vegas, NV, Kyla Hawkins of Pelahatchie, MS, Jason Sanders St, Monica Sanders of Shelbyville, KY, Kylon Gunn of Killeen and Willow Hawkins of Jackson, MS; and his godson Robert Hicks of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bunker's Eden Vale Mortuary (925 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Bunker's Eden Vale Memorial Park (1216 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101).
