He was predeceased by: his father David N. Day Sr.; his stepfather Herbert "Jerry" Mauk; his brothers, Keith Day and Henri Day; his brother-in-law Rick Wiegel; and his mother-in-law Sandra Cowley.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Brandon Day (Dallas), Amy Day and Taylor Day; his grandchildren, Jason, Hailey and Jax; his mother Joanne Mauk; his sister Irella Wiegel; his sister-in-law Susie Lafrentz; his father-in-law Lynn Cowley Sr. (Raquel); his siblings-in-law, Jamie Cowley (Carrie Jo), Johnnie Cowley (Kathy), Lynn Cowley (Stephanie), Kurtis Cowley (Lacy), Kevin Cowley (Nichole), Michille Jaramillo, Monica Burton (Kelly) and Dawn Morgan; and his close friend Jimmy Ines Jr. (Stephanie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
